Mirror Image

In the last few months this concept of a mirror image has really hit home. Although I could conceptual understand the As Above So Below and As Within So Without concept, I really hadn’t embodied it yet. That has now shifted.

Life is but a dream

We are all dreaming, dreaming to be awake. Every waking moment of our existence we are experiencing ‘our dream’, seeing life through our lens. No two people experience life in exactly the same way. My perception of reality is completely different to those around me and vice versa.

What has been a real wake up call for me, is how my vibration and energetic state can shift my external reality, as if in some way I am becoming the puppet master of my own life. Some people call this Law Of Attraction, or Manifestation, however for me this is just the way it is. A Universal Law if you will. Once we can master this law, we can truly change our life.

We are all a reflection of one another

Ironically it is through not getting what I want where I have gained the most insight. It is only via my own awareness of duality, that I have began to learn what I am not. Or to put it another way, by experiencing the opposite of what we desire do we learn who we really are and what we really want.

This to me is when the concept of the mirror really hits home. Every single person is a reflection of me, of what is going on with me on a deeper subconscious level. If I don’t like what I’m seeing out the outside, then it is an indicator that I need to drop down, go inside, find stillness, and ground.

This is why, as we shift our vibration, people tend to drop away from our life, making room for new people who are more in tune with our vibration. Sometimes we can cling to the old, get attached to outcomes, forgetting that we are in a constant state of change, shifting out of old timelines and entering the new.

Being Present is key

Our only real goal in mastering this process is presence. Being truly present in the now. It sounds so simple and yet I know from personal experience I can go for weeks, maybe even months without dropping down into my heart space, stuck in my thoughts and emotions, or put another way Mind.

When I live life from the Mind, everything becomes a tornado, there is never enough time, I become restless and my external reality reflects this with chaos and strife.

By creating a daily practise of meditation, stillness, silence or by going out into nature you will be well on your way to finding a lot more balance.

Remember, if you don’t like what you see on the outside, if people are triggering you, or you’re running around like a hamster in a wheel, then you are not in your heart space, have fallen out of balance, and your ego is running the show.

I am emerging from a week of intense purging and integration, and good news something has finally clicked for me. If I don’t make my spiritual practise a priority, then i’m not making myself a priority, which ultimately translates as a lack of self love and compassion. When we shift back into our heart, so does the world around us. This is what the great visionaries describe as heaven on earth. It is not a place we go, but a change in perspective. A shift in vibration, and it’s available for each and every one of us, if we just commit to doing the work.

Pay attention to what’s going on in your life this week. What is your world reflecting back at you? Could it be time for a shift in perspective?
