Many of us find ourselves inundated with invitations to parties and gatherings at this time of year. This can start to become quite problematic for many on the path to ascension as alcohol, among many other things, no longer resonates like it used to. Although everyone has completely different experiences, I’m sure there are others who also feel that alcohol no longer appeals in quite the same way as before.
It’s all about vibration
As you continue to work on yourself, you’ll start to realise that alcohol know longer feels like a vibrational match anymore. This can be a rather confusing process at first, as alcohol, (certainly in British culture), is at the heart of most social occasions. I know that when I went through this initially, probably about a year ago, I started to feel like I was at risk of isolating myself from various friendship groups. What used to be considered normal weekly practise, didn’t feel like fun anymore. I didn’t quite understand it at the time. My hangovers were getting worse, and I wasn’t even enjoying the experience of drinking either. Although I loved many of the people I would spend time with in that moment, I was also finding myself drift away from others.
It felt like everything revolved around the one thing I didn’t want to do. Initially I had to take a step back to honour my inner guidance.
At first this meant I had to turn down a lot of social engagements
Now while this was rather out of character for me, it also taught me the power in saying ‘no’. Until I could get to a point where I could go out and not have a drink, I had to go cold turkey and refrain from putting myself in that environment. In doing so I created more space for me to connect with my closest friends in a more wholesome way.
Yeah I might have lost some acquaintances along the way, but what I’ve found is that as people leave your life, you create space for more people who are more aligned with who you are today. I’ve met some of the most amazing people in the last year alone simply by living more authentically.
Your vibe attracts your tribe
Rather than evenings spent in bars, as was the norm only a year ago, I am more inclined to go out for a brunch, a picnic, or a walk somewhere. The latter two also accommodating my need to spend more time in nature; another of many other requirements in this awakening process. Cutting out meat and dairy was another big one.
Fast forward to today, and I have a much more healthy relationship with alcohol. I never binge drink anymore. I’ve mainly said goodbye to drinking out in bars etc. It really doesn’t interest me.
It’s about balance
Now I’m no longer completely teetotal. If I want to have a drink during a meal out with a friend, or as part of a celebration than I will. I’ve worked out my limit is around the three drink mark. It’s not worth the foggy groggy haze I have to deal with the next day by exceeding that. It is near impossible to raise your vibration on a hangover, and ascension is a daily practise.
As a collective we are going through huge dimensional shifts. We’re literally evolving in our human lifetimes, moving from a 3D reality to 5D. This a massive transformation in terms of what our human bodies have to do to accommodate all of this light. It is not an over night process. Our bodies are literally being restructured from carbon based to crystalline. This takes anything up to several years in linear time, although the timelines are not fixed per person.
It is not a coincidence that so many of us are waking up at this time. This is all part of a wider divine plan, and is going to become more and more common place over the next few years.
Listen to your inner guidance system
What I’ve come to learn is that I’m only making it easier on myself If I listen to what my intuition is telling me. There are so many symptoms of this incredible process. We are living in such momentous times. It is why so many of us are here at this auspicious time. Who wouldn’t want to honour our bodies in the best way possible as we literally transmute from the inside out.
