New Moon in Virgo

September 9th brings a powerful New Moon in the sign of Virgo, 17 degrees. This New Moon will bring positive aspects to host of planets, namely Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto which are all in the signs of water and earth.

There is a lot of grounded energy at the moment with 7 planets all in earth signs. Capricorn is in the sign of Saturn and Pluto, which can signify great energy for career, fame and honours, but also restriction.

New Beginnings.

Taurus is in Uranus which brings an energy of change to give way for strong foundations. With the Virgo moon sweeping in, joining both the Sun and Mercury this can aid us getting everything in order, and add the final touches in a precise, and practical way.

This new moon precedes the Harvest Full Moon in Aries on September 25th, right after the Autumn Equinox on the 23rd. Basically this means that unlike regular New Moons where the energy is centred around calling in the new, the Virgo moon provides us with an opportunity to focus on the seeds that have already been planted, and what is due to ripen before the harvest that is to come. What do we have to tend to, to help it to bloom?

Virgo energy is all about work, health, and being of sacred service. This New Moon will give us positive energy in all these areas of our lives. It’s a time to use our intuition to guide us in the next best course of action. What dreams have yet to materialise, what to do want to see bloom over the coming weeks and months?

9.9.9 Portal Opening.

If that is not all, this New Moon also falls on the same day as a powerful 9:9:9 portal which gives triple the energy of a number 9 representing completion and resolution. With all the intense Eclipse energy behind us, I’m sure many of us have felt a period of great shifts and changes recently. The 9.9.9 portal can mark the culmination of that period before we blast off in a totally new direction. Hold on to your hats everyone, all of your hard work is about to pay off in a huge way.
